Blondita is more than just a name—it’s a tribute to my beloved dog, my loyal companion for nearly 11 years. She has been with me through the good times and the tough ones, always by my side with her peaceful, loving, and sometimes stubborn personality.

Her name, Blondita, is a reflection of our bicultural identity. It’s a mix of English and Spanish—“Blondie” combined with ”-ita”, a Spanish suffix that adds affection and warmth. In full Spanish, she would be “Güerita”, but in our Spanglish world, she became Blondita. Just like her name, my life is a blend of cultures, experiences, and traditions.

I chose her name for my shop because I know our time together in this world is limited, but through Blondita Shop, her spirit will always be with me. This shop carries the same values she represents—love, loyalty, and a sense of home.
